The last quarter of the year is always jam-packed with activities and celebrations. Surviving the pandemic has really put things into perspective for a lot of people and after the lockdown, everyone is more than ready to be outside.
Halloween recently started gaining more traction in Nigeria in the past two years, with more people dressing up in costumes for the celebration.
This year, there are loads of places hosting parties in celebration of the spooky observance and Abuja is not to be left behind. Here are some spaces to go to if you’re in the mood to partake in scary festivities.

People are encouraged to put on their costumes and come party with three OG heavyweights of Nigeria’s underground electronic music scene and a secret venue. It’s all very thrilling. This event is ticketed and to gain access to it, you would have to contact Bush bar Sessions to purchase a ticket. This is going to be one for the books! 👻
Some other places…
Suffice to say, there is a range of options available for all those looking for a spooky experience in the capital city. If you have the energy, you can tag this weekend “the Halloween crawl”, where you hop from one venue to the next starting from Saturday the 30th to Sunday the 31st. It would be a fantastic way to go into the new month.
